Renewal requirements
Under the Professional Accountants Ordinance, all registration ends on 31 December each year. Renewal notices will be issued in October and members may login to renew registration online after receipt of the renewal notice. An application for renewal of registration shall be made to the Institute not later than 15 December in the year preceding in such form as the Council may specify.

If you are a practising member, the renewal of your Practising Certificate (PC), practice units and Registered Public Interest Entity (PIE) Auditor registration (where applicable) with the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) will be subject to the successful renewal of your membership with HKICPA. Details of the renewal for PC, practice units and Registered PIE Auditor registration can be found on the AFRC website.
