Membership & Admission Department processes applications for membership registration.   The department is also responsible for maintaining the registers and online lists of certified public accountants, handling international recognition enquiries and monitoring the annual renewal process.  If you have any questions, please email us at member@hkicpa.org.hk.

As of 1 October 2022, the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) assumes the responsibilities for the following functions:

·         Registration of Public Interest Entity auditors

·         Issuance of practising certificates

·         Registration of firm names and firms

·         Registration of corporate practices
